I love painting golf courses … especially links golf courses.

‘Liz had a long career in ceramic design but has returned to her roots as a painter. She is also a keen golfer and has created a collection of semi – abstract scenes of Scottish links golf courses in their stunning scenery. Liz’s local Dunbar golf club provided an opportunity to set off work with golf course features, as well as vistas to Barns Ness lighthouse, Bass Rock and Dunbar on a very cold, windy, bright day. We had an adventure traversing the golf course in a buggy with her art work, a set of golf clubs, and camera gear while trying to avoid golfers at play’.
